100 Days!!! Forging Ahead..Thanks Everyone!
I stopped counting based on the recommendations of many experienced folks but when I checked the calendar I noticed that it was day 100! Man, this has been rough at times and I have been surly and difficult to deal with, even in these forums. I worried that the devil inside me would make me think that day 100 meant I could start again...NO CHANCE! I am finally (after 90 days of fog) starting to get back to myself. My memory is shot, recall mainly, maybe it will come back. The rash on my arms is gone and the people at the gym all know me by name. Life still has lots of challenges with damaged and destroyed relationships, financial woes and tons of work stress...but those are blessings cause now I can at least see them clearly. Looking to kick smoking and caffeine next (they have helped at tough times). THANKS TO ALL as I continue to work the program and try to fix the REAL problems that have been in the making for 42 years. I started getting drunk when I was 11....so this is really a new lease on life. No illusions and still struggling to work the steps but VERY appreciative for those who took the time to tell me what I needed to hear even when I was not very willing to listen.

I've also decided not to pay to much attention to counting the days, but 100 is still a great milestone! You make me eager to reach the 100 day mark myself! Congrats, and here's to the next 100. And the next, and the next!
