The best thing I never wanted to do
You don't get a college degree by not going to college.
You don't get laid by never asking them out.
You don't make money by never getting a job.
And
You don't stay sober by never trying to quit.
For me, staying sober is an activity.
Just as much as going to college, making a date, or getting a job.
What I get out of sobriety depends on what I put into it.

Sobriety is now part of my routine , as i walk the path of my day i can see the old turnings and oppertunities i'd have went down . Being active about these decisions rather than being the passive observer of live, a voyer of my own experience seems to be where the ballance point of the issue resides for me . These days i always make the call , i always choose .
