please use paragraph breaks

for people posting on the new recovery branch, please, please break up your paragraphs with small sentences. Trying to read a run on a sentence/paragraph when you're jonesing sucks rubber donkey lungs.

actually a lot of people are posting from phones now, which I gather makes formatting somewhat difficult.

In any case, while I appreciate the difficulties of readers...lets not forget why we're here...

people are often struggling, desperately at the end of their tether when they post. It's not an English exam.

I don't anyone to feel unwelcome or marginalised here.

If a post is too hard or too cumbersome for you to read, simply move on.

Others will respond.

Dee why are we here? Some need help, some want to help. Communication is important. An occasional friendly reminder doesn't have to be alienating. If no one understands each other, things break down. Same as my other post about acronyms.

The lines of communication look pretty open to me DB?

I think we should remember tho - this might be the first thread someone sees - who are we to know whether it's alienating or not?

lets not make this into a BS argument thread. Thats not how I want to spend my time.

Dee out.

It is 1 am in the morning I struggle to get words srtrung together on tough nights. Sometimes I can barely think. I was an Enhglish teacher but there are semantics of the heart.

I personally don't mind reading stuff however it is formatted. If it takes more time then who cares, I've got all the time in the world.

People have better things to worry about than formatting. Formatting Anonymous.

I find it really hard to read and type on the forum from my phone even though its got a huge screen. I still do however, I've just become more adept to scrolling. You'll know if I am posting on a phone because random words will have capital letters for no reason and my phone will autocorrect stuff inappropriately.

Are we really starting posts to correct people's grammar when a.)if they are posting, they are likely in a really terrible emotional place and b.) maybe not everyone here has the luxury of education? I am struggling to figure out how the original poster thought that saying this would benefit anyone's recovery.

Having discussed it with Anna, we both feel that the best discussions here are inclusive, not divisive.

There are no plans to change the way we do things here - I'm actually quite proud of the way anyone and everyone can get help here, if they want it.

so...let's go and spread some of that help around
