Fernaceman

For some reason or another, this phrase gets to me...

For me, stating "this time around....." leaves an opening for NEXT time around, even on a subconscious level.

Thoughts? I know it's a very small things, but I feel I need to be very careful with my words. I have made many false promises of abstinence in vain. Making a declaration like that seems dangerous to me.

Like a lot of things, I can be over thinking it quite a bit lol.

Whenever a phrase like that comes about I just keep reminding myself it's one day at a time and make sure I forget the past.

Yeah, I try to have a sense of humor about things, but it also can be an apparent defense mechanism. Sometimes I can't just help and laugh and poke fun at myself for the craziness that swirls around in my mind.
