I,m doing delivery tomorrow come hell or high water

My new pissy homeless assistant food delivery person contacted me almost in tears because people were upset I was not there to talk to. It is not just the food it is the relationship. There is hunger that goes beyound the stomach. I tried to eplain it takes time for people to adjust to change but he took it pretty personal. We will do the route together tomorrow. The bike guy did greal bikeing the food and doesn't really speak so not an issue. People can look down on these guys but they are as human as the rest of us, maybe some more so.

You are doing a great job Fitz and you, and we all, know that.

It's hard for others to understand sometimes why we can't always be there for them - but as soon as we return again, no matter how long it takes, they will understand that you care. (I know you know that)

I'm having fun working out delivery routes and drop off points. Lot's of places my biker can not go off road though he probably rides 20-30 miles a day. He actually has some businesses supporting and is getting signs to ride behind his bike and we are starting to get food sponsors. I may never have to make a sandwich again. There are big hearts in this world when people open their eyes. At the same time some of these guys are physically and mentally able to work and need to get off their butts.

I am better. Excited about tomorrow. I know there are services but to do it outside the system is exciting, not even bringing red tape or forms. A long term goal is that everyone that can gives something of themselves. And not a flu bug. Used to be a teacher for years caught everything from the kids.
