Greetings from an Irish Drunk
I know it's a cliche, the Irish drunk, but here I am.
I had some good sobriety until February, then started messing around again.
My last mess up started last Sunday and continued until Thursday.
I'm going through the usual shakes and anxiety, but hopefully I'm over the worst now.
I look forward to getting my life back.
I've had a read over this forum and it seems like a safe community of well-meaning people trying to get better and stay better.
I'm sure we can all help each other.
Look forward to sharing with you all,
R.E.

An Irish american catholic drunk here. I was once told and agree that we Irish catholics should be assigned a home group and sponsor as soon as we are born.
