7 days sober.
i'm older and can't seperate or start hanging with a new crowd.
Some moved away from me when I got sober...others I have to move myself away from...but I had to move out of that circle.
Those few who survived 'the cull' where those who supported my decision and were respectful of it.
Generally, I made new friends and re-connected with old ones.
It's never too late to make changes you need to make

day 12. diet question
hey everybody. i'm into double digits and kickin like a chickin. feel good. does anyone have insight into what is a good diet for an abused liver. i read somewhere that a high carbohydrate diet with plenty of pasta and bread is good for a recovering liver. if that's the case i'm in heaven. i could eat pasta three times a day no problem other although soon i won't fit through the front door.also also said to take vit b complex. anyone have any experience with this. i know we're not supposed to give medical advice and we aren't all mds, but even personal testimony would be good. thanks tinkanman. keep on truckin
one month sober
well, i've made it a whole month, working it one day at a time. it didn't seem possible at first. daunting is the word i used. but i feel great. as i've said before, no one cares about my drinking like i do. nobody seems to notice that i've stopped and that's the way i want it. i will continue to fly below the radar. i've had great support from my wife and the sr web site. i enjoy the chat room almost daily. the regular suspects are a hoot and always willing to listen to a new comers problems and questions. ok, one month down and kickin like a chickin. on to round two.....tinkanman over and out!
