A Great Sober Night

Just checking in to say I am having a wonderful evening. I tended to the flowers and played with the rabbit. Then I started a roast and let the cats out a few minutes ago. My gray cat's standing at the door with the "trophy" he caught but I'm gonna wait until hubby gets home in an hour before I let him back in because I'm afraid he's gonna carry that little furry creature in with him to show me...ewwww Have a great sober night everyone!

Oh yeah, and I'm eating popcorn, drinking a coke, and watching the movie "Double Jeopardy."

Sounds like a great night. How sweet that your kitty brought you a gift. It's good to see your post.

Yes, reading success stories is nice. If they can succeed at quitting, I can too. Keep sharing please Kae.

I sure will Maples. I just hope that next time I get the urge to drink again, I won't push away from SR like I did before. It's so easy to post on good days, I'm hoping for strength on the not so good ones.

I had a cat and it always hunted stuff and then ate it on our welcome mat in front of the front door. What's with that anyway? They trying to prove their hunting prowess to us humans or something?

I believe so RobC....and I think he didn't just kill it in one stroke, he actually batted him back and forth between each paw until the mouse just freaked out and died...I didn't get too close...lol just watched him from the porch as he was out in the yard. When he came in I gave him a treat for his skills.
