Sorry, that sucks.. Hope you can pull out of it soon.

This helps me sometimes: Write yourself a note right now of what triggered you this time. Also write down if you're feeling the joy & pleasure that you were going for when you picked up that first drink.

Sometimes notes to myself that I've written while drinking can help me avoid a "next time". A lot of times I realize that the fantasy of being drunk isn't the reality that happens while I'm being drunk.

Your AV has the upper hand right now Action, but that doesn't have to be the case in the next minute or hours. Try to turn it around and get back on track. We're rooting for you!!

Sorry to hear of this, ACT10N. Good on you for posting and sharing! Awesome! I hope you stick around and share what is what over the next while, and quit the drinking one more time. Like others have said, we've all done what you did ourselves in our own times, so you're in good company.

YOU CAN QUIT!!

This is so true. I've realized this recently. Before I took that first drink i did expecting a certain outcome; having fun feeling loose, socializing, being happy etc, and every single time I relapsed I didn't get any of those outcomes at all. I either just simply blacked out and passed out before I experienced joy or I was just consumed with guilt or anger. Then not only did I NOT get the outcomes I wanted, I actually got the opposite; late for work
, fights with friends, lost money, problems at home. Nothing good has come out of that first drink in years.

Action; think about it. Has alcohol done anything good for you lately to help you?,

Only God knows how many times I had to fall before I was able to stand up. You can do this Action & we are all here for you supporting you from around the world.

We want you to be happy & enjoy life sober, you can do this. Where do you think things went wrong (something happen, just wanted a drink or ??)

Take care & keep posting, nice work on coming here & sharing.

Cheers ~ NB

Thinking of you action, hope that you can get your balance back. I feel for you, it is a damn slippery slope when you go back out. Been there. Blessings
