Smile id like to say hi

Hi, I'm Zoe, sober since 5th June after 3 detoxs and a 3 month stay in a rehab centre. I completed my treatment on the 4th September but I still have a lot of work to do. Ever since I came back into the community I've done nothing but crave but I'm keeping myself busy with buying bits and bobs for my new house which I move into next week and I see my children once a week and go to after care meetings.

Hi Zoe, I'm new here too and it's a fantastic place for help, support or if you just need to off load.

In the beginning of sobriety, I was told in alcoholics anonymous to keep hard candies in my pocket and when I felt the craving, I'd eat a candy-it seemed to help. They say that the alcohol turns to sugar in our system and now we don't have all that sugar going through our blood-so the candies do help... LOL, I got addicted to Gummy Bears..
