All4nothing, I don't have the right advice for you, other than to say that I understand how you feel. My story isn't identical, obviously, but I get what you feel about trying so hard to be happy and not achieving that and how difficult it can be.
Really, if you are here on this website, then there is some part of you that wants to recover from what you're doing and wants to be happy. Thanks for sharing your story...I honestly think some people are just wired differently, even to the point where some can find happiness like it's just a blade of grass, while others search for years without success (like myself). But it does shape you into a more compassionate, and in my opinion way more interesting, person.
