I am new here also. I am on my tenth day of sobriety. I also wish that someday I could be a social drinker but I also know that one drink it too many and a million is never enough. It is a dream that will probably never come true.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I have been drinking for so many years, that I honestly can't tell you when I went for more than one day without a drink.

Hi Katan! You're in the right place. I'm on day 3 and so happy to have found this place. Even though it was hard I went to my first AA meeting last night. I've had my 24 hour coin in my pocket all day and reach in and feel it once in a while. Feels good!! The meeting was hard on me but having that little token in my pocket feels like a million bucks.

I am still napping quite a bit too! I'll be happy when I have more energy. Welcome!!!
