Lost My Internet Since Yesterday, Missed SR

Missed SR more than I can explain. It is a life line in the true since of life. It is the glue that helps hold things together in a fragile world of sobriety. Not that you are gooey but it is good to stick with you. I couldn't really do it alone but I'm not alone. Every connection seals a crack in something that was broken but its coming together not seamlessly but meaningfully. Thank you

((Fitz)) - glad you got your internet back! The few times I've lost it, it feels like a part of my body has been amputated or something. I even found out how to get SR on my phone, so I never have to leave home without it.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

I quess what I am trying to say is am I to reliant on SR and other resources. Should the courage lie within. It is my dis-ease, it is my responsibility. I feel like a kid sometimes turning to adults for my solutions. I need to step forward and really accept ownership. I don't know howto explain it,

((Fitz)) - I look at SR as one addiction I have every intent of holding onto

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

I've been useing SR as a vital supplement to my local AA committments
for 10 years. It's my cyber home group....

Can you think of our site in that manner?

For me staying sober is my main priority, if I lose my sobriety, I am useless to myself and others...if SR helps me stay sober, why would I not use it? Sure there are other methods to embrace for continued sobriety...why not take advantage of what works for you as much as you need to...take care...

I love SR--when i stopped participating in SR and AA (because I was cured right?) My drinking got way way way out of control. I have to be with people who understand the struggle & how it feels to clean up the wreckage I have created.

I saw the "SR will be down for routine maintenance banner" and freaked! OMG! What will I do when SR is down?!?! HAHAH
