Introducing myself
Good afternoon to you all. Glad to have found this place. My name is Rhonda. My addiction is...enabling....I am forty nine years old. Mother of four. Registered nurse. Happily married. I don't enable as bad as I used to but I struggle with it. It is so easy to slip back....I enabled my first husband for twenty six years. I stopped. He left. Stopped with my dad a year later...he hasn't spoken to me in three years. Now....I am struggling with my daughter...that's why I joined...

Welcome, Rhonda! Being a nurse and an enabler is almost like me being a bartender, lol. it's awesome that you know that you tend towards enabling. Many enablers refuse to acknowledge that they do it to the detriment of the person they are enabling. Good on ya!
