I aprehended the thief

For me, withdrawal from alcohol (even if only three drinks), manifests in extreme anxiety. It is terrifying, and I can't be present for those around me.

This fine morning, I am 7 days free of anxiety. I have regained the sanity that the the thief of alcohol stole from me. It is a glorious thing actually.

Just wanted to put that out there into the universe.

Good to hear you are going well. Anxiety is awful. Wasn't until I got sober that I realized that my alcoholism and anxiety were linked.
