Newbie Post
MrCardholder, thank you for your story. I just joined today and honestly this forum is the only thing that has gotten me through one of the worst days of my life. Let's beat this beast and become the people we know we should be, not stay the miserable drunks we were yesterday. Keep posting and let us know what works for you. Best wishes.
Welcome Mr.CardHolder!
Good to meet you and thanks for sharing your story with us. The problem may be "us", but the solution is, too! Sounds like you're ready to be the best you can be and that's awesome!

Warmest welcomes MrCardholder!
Glad you didn't just write your story down on a piece of paper...as I enjoyed reading it very much!
I agree with a couple of the others who mentioned AVRT...you seem to be the type of person that would be a good fit for the method and it would certainly fit with your desire for privacy.
You're off to a great start!

When I wrote my first post here, it was like a weight lifted off my shoulders... sort of like doing somthing that you have been meaning to do for ages, but never got round to it. I have never looked back.
MrCardholder, thanks for your post. It was honest and open, and very helpful for us all here. We all are here for a common reason. Addiction to alcohol or other things. Troubles and traumas, good news and bad. No holding back. (Except swearing!) I hope that you find whatever way helps you in your life and keep posting.
There are a few strange ones on here who peddle their wears. I have my favourites which make me chuckle.
My way was quit or die. I had no other option. There are people with options, which makes it harder as the ultimate resolve can often be weaker. This is where you have to dig deep. Good luck to you x
