What damage are us drinkers doing to ourselves?
I too have just started to take a natural herb called nytol.
Fingers crossed it will work.

Lots of physical medical issues on here. They all scare/scared me.
Almost as bad though, personality changes. When I first started to drink, I did it because it gave me the confidence to do anything. Before long though, it robs you, and you need a drink to feel anything. It's amazing how much more confidence, self esteem, worth I have felt since stopping. Now, I feel as though I can do anything because I haven't got that monkey on my back.
Peace.

Let's see....21 yrs. ago I hit a concrete culvert
sitting on top the ground due to me driving home
under the influence of alcohol. This stunt led
me to a 10 day stay in the hospital with my
spleen being removed so I wouldnt bleed to
death and the rest of my life without this organ
in my body which is to allow speedy healing.
3 yrs ago I had my hip replaced due to damage
done to it from the same accident. I knew i was
banged up pretty well with numberous broken
ribs, a punctured lung, lots of other broken bones
and contusions and having my chin reattached to
my face, but didnt know for yrs the extent of those
damages done to my body until I began to experience
major pain when i walked.
Exrays showed that my hip had broke with no
knowledge of it and healed crooked affecting
the way I walked then causing more damage to
my hip.
I was 30 when i entered recovery and now at 50ish,
im in better shape, mentally, physically, emotionally
as well as spiritually.
Thank goodness there is a recovery program to
live my life by today, because it works only because
Ive worked it.
