Hello Everyone,

I new to this community. I am newly married and my lifestyle and drinking is taking a toll on my marriage. I happen to stumble upon this site while searching for answers to my particular problem. You see I do not crave alcohol everyday but I do enjoy on the weekends having a glass of wine or two over dinner then washing it down with several michalobe ultras. Yes I am a binge drinker and its destructive ways are taking a toll on my marriage. My husband says that even after one drink there is a drastic change in my mood and I get easily aggitated. After reading a couple blogs from other members I see what I am doing to him.
God has blessed me with the perfect husband an I refuse to let this demon destroy my marriage. Now that I'm on this new journey I know I will need the help of you all to get me through this test. In the same token I hope that I can help you all as well

Hi blessed! It's good you're taking action now. We're usually oblivious to how alcohol changes our personality. I was told I repeated myself a lot, was argumentative & confrontational - and that is definitely not the real me. Unfortunately, I didn't listen.
