Love music and its helped me in so many ways, its almost a release. When i gave up alcohol one of the things i thought about missing the most was having a drink and putting my earphones in an getting lost in the music...i have got up this morning..8 days sober and put on one of my favourite videos from recently, watching it now, sober, i take even more strength and empowerment from it, not sure of the true meaning behind this song or video but i suppose we all interperet things differently, this song just seems so apt as it talks about not giving up on your life and marrying the night..caus that was always the part of the day that presented me with such temptation and destruction....watching Gaga dance makes me wanna kick alcohols ass and show it that it aint gonna hold me down no more!!! Just wanted to share.....

Way to go, after today I have 7 days. Great way to look at it. Hit it in the mouth. Hit it so it can't get up anymore. We're doing this and going to keep on doing it.

When I was using I hardly ever listened to music. I either wasn't interested in it or it was a song that reminded me of something painful. Now that I'm sober I can't find enough music to satisfy my needs. I listen to music ALL the time now, It makes me feel so good. Those songs that were painful aren't anymore. I have my headphones turned all the way up all the time
