A breakfast for a true Angel.
Good morning all,
I thought I would share my fantastic morning. We have a beautiful breakfast at a downtown church to celebrate Sister Ignatia on March 31. The church is next to the hospital where she worked with all of us suffering alcoholic in Cleveland. She is know as our "little angel" because of her stature. But you would not know it by her heart and compassion. I have met several people that got sober through and with her grace. She actually passed on April 1st but today she was remembered by a very humble group of simple men and women. Most of us never met her , but her spirit touches us every day. Thank you Sister for all you have done. God Bless you and all you loved.
So one of our greatest things as human's is service to others. Our way of life and civalization would totally crumble and cease to be if we always on our own. We alcoholics have such a wonderful opportunity to give to the world. We all have this common problem and so we can find that common answer. Just think about how wonderful it would be to take our greatest problem and solve it by finding that answer. And then spending the rest of my life helping any and all others with that same problem. Oh the light at the end of the tunnel. I love this journey and am not rushing to the destination by any means.
Smile cause sobriety looks good on YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a great weekend and have some fun with April fools day.
Good love , Inda
