Made it through day 2
Hi SR! End of day two, now the real battle starts for me. Day 3 or 4 is when I convince myself that I deserve some beers (at least 12), so I'm bracing for that. Even day 2 brought temptations: 2 coworkers going to drink after work and a friend texted me about going bowling. My friend parties really hard (he's independently wealthy) and I love hanging with him, but I'm not going to any time soon. Don't need the temptation. Anyways I'm hanging in there, and the search for a new apt continues tomorrow! Cheers

it's much easier to search for apts. and do those daily living tasks when you are sober.
if Day 3 is a tough hurdle, reward yourself in a different way. A new token of something you like and can afford that will also take time shopping for. I had to change up my whole routine too after work at first, even the route home.
congrats and it will feel like such a victory tomorrow.
