Yup, for sure I don't want those bad things to happen to me or my family ever again. I am grateful to be sober and so glad not to wake up with a hangover or to feel grumpy with my family for no reason or.... a thousand different things.
Actually, I am feeling incredibly grateful that step 1 landed on me like a bolt of lightening the other week and I, or rtather my HP, got myself through that AA door for that first time. I think I might have actually gone through step 2 this evening - how cool is that?!?
And I am feeling very grateful to you all here.
Next step in my AA journey - get to more meetings and start scouting / asking HP for a sponsor!!

Step 2...He can
Step 3...I think I'll let Him
