How is a sober month measured?
This may sound like a stupid question, but is a month sober measured as 4 weeks (28 days) or say from for example 1st of January to 1st February (31 days).
Just a random thing I was wondering about today. Please enlighten me. 3 weeks for me today

My sober date is Nov. 9. I got my "30 day" coin on Dec. 9, my "60 day" coin on Jan. 9, etc.
I never bothered to actually count the days. That makes my head hurt.
I'm quite certain that some people count each day and that's ok too.
BTW - here's a sober time calculator that you might be interested in.

The first 90 days, I picked up a chip every 30 days, although I picked up the chip to show the newcomer, the person with a day or a week, that it can be done. I also picked up chips every meeting I attended (in this time period) for this same reason (I also gave them back--recycling if you will), and to practice being in the "limelight" since I always tried to stay invisible in my past. Today, I can walk to get a cup of coffee and know that I am not the center of attention, nor am I ignored by everyone. Balance. Just balance.
Today, I acknowledge my new month on the 16th.
May 16, 2011, the last day I drank (it was after midnight when I finished, previously I started with the first day of not drinking; this seems to be working, thank you very much!)
Peace,
