11 Months Today!
Well this guy has not had to live like a drunk for 11 months now.
For the newbies here, hang on because it's quite a ride. I could never have done this by myself. AA and SR are both extremely important to me.
My second day sober I had the shakes so bad I couldn't even hold a cup of coffee without spilling it all out.
At 45 days sober my car drove itself to the liquor store without my help!
At 10 months sober there was the boat of my dreams in my driveway and a 9 year old boy helping his dad work on it.
Tonight, I'm going to bed feeling good and happy that I didn't have to be a drunk for past 24 hours.
I have a good feeling about tomorrow too. I'll just do what worked today and also- not take a drink.
Thank you all for helping me with my sobriety.
