my small milestone :)
I actually went to the gas station today, tempted to buy a pint of vodka and froze when the clerk was checking me out. I DIDN'T BUY IT!
I am so proud of myself. Before, I never would have been able to do this.
Sometimes the smallest milestones are the greatest. I am offically 13 days sober. I stopped drinking 11/11/11 but relapsed 2 weeks into....thinking..."I got this, I don't have a problem!" Boy, was I wrong.
I just wanted to share that.
Thank you to everyone on the boards for helping me realize I am not alone in this. Now off to a meeting and then the gym!

Awesome.
It was my relapse, two weeks into my first attempt to quit, that convinced me that I indeed had a problem.

Great! Hey celebrate when you can! Keep talking about your progress! Alcohol is EVERYWHERE so when we can say no in our minds when it's right in front of us, we need to celebrate!
