I'll make this short, i went on my vacation which i had pre-booked in a party district with ubiquitous bars/pubs. I had a week there. Funny thing is, on Monday within 1 hour of arriving I had my first & last beer. I survived the week sober & Christmas day, it was quite a test. I walked/wrote/read/spent time with relatives - so much to keep away from the pubs. Went to a sporting event today for a mates bucks/stag night. Have not had a drink at all, I'm home & they're at the pub. Tomorrow will be day 8. After passing this test i reckon I could handle any situation.
