Finished Treatment Today

But I realize the work is just beginning. To add to my tools for survival I have my certificate of completion and my treatment center medallion to look at which will hopefully serve as reminders that sobriety is the only way to go.

I do have plans, Dee. Going to Continuing Care then After Care. Going to attend some meetings and continue looking for a sponsor. And I'm going to keep coming to SR!

Good for you FRH. I never received a medallion or a certificate of completion or anything except a cancelled check from any of the various rehabs and treatment programs I went through. I feel shortchanged.

Sounds like you have a plan. Keep us posted, I am inspired by successes the most. Be my inspiration occasionally, OK?

That's great news, now the maintaining starts. Do you still see a therapist or go to AA? I may try an out patient after work program if I don't start feeling like I'm growing as a person after being sober. This is a big deal I hope all goes well.

I'm doing continuing care, which is part of the program and meets once a week. Will also be going to at least one AA meeting per week.
