So sorry for wasting people's time. I tried to clarify that my husband was not the addict I was referring to with replies further down. But thank you everyone for your wise responses that corresponded with the way I made it sound. So so sorry. I'm a dummy.
So, to clarify.. you're thinking about going to alanon because of alcoholic family members, you're husband isn't the addict, and he's giving you a hard time about going? Honestly I think the replies to gour other thread still loosely apply, actually. You gotta take care of you hun.

When I replied I understood that your husband was not your addict.
I was concerned, when I read your original post, how your husband's opinion of your recovery held more weight than your own opinion.
