Seven days today

It's been a LONG time since I've gone a week without drinking. Usually my fail day is the fourth or fifth one. Birthday party for a friend on Saturday and I'm feeling really confident. Looking forward to having intelligent conversations rather than just getting drunk and loud. What I used to think of as "outgoing."

Finding this community has been a huge help for me. Thank you everybody.

Good job. Take your own non-alcoholic drinks with you to the party. Keep a can of pepsi or whatever in your had and people won't be so prone to offer you a beer. Congrats on the week!
