Welcome to SR! I'm not familiar with the climate in Washington, but I hope it is to your liking.

since being here 3 months I noticed the summers are nice and dry/warm. Not humid at all and very comfortable..I would guess the same for Fall..but im curious how the winters here pan out.

Welcome!! Don't know about the weather in Washington... I'm a Minnesota gal myself. Hopefully the winters there will be more gentle than what we get here.

I was told the winters are pleasant here..and that the snow can get powder-like since we are close to the mountains. in Japan, we would get very wet and heavy snow..
