Miracle!
Hello! I just wanted to introduce myself. I celebrated 90 days in recovery three weeks ago. Difficult to describe the immense spiritual change I have had through this process. As I stepped into my first AA meeting, the denial, guilt, and shame were washed away by acceptance. I am in awe of the miracle that is about me. I am a grateful recovering alcoholic living in humility before the power of this group of drunks.

Welcome, Sorcerer, and congratulations on your progress. May it continue. You're right, AA is a spiritual program, provoking spiritual change. Most people don't understand that it's not a religious program. Religion is for people who are afraid of hell; spirituality is for people who have been there. Religion is about doctrines and beliefs; spirituality is about your personal relationship with God.
