I have relapse in my history also...the important thing is you aware now how this disease is...take it one day at a time...don't drink. You never have to go back out and drink again...ever. Thank you for sharing...glad you are here at SR.

It took me 5 months of "quitting" before I finally quit for good. Learn from your mistake and get back at it, use every day sober as a lesson. You can do this!

AMEN to that!!!!! All I can say is good deal on the week + you had and get right back to it! Your body is still better off that you got that week in than if you hadn't! Hang in there!!!!!

Like others have said, just go right back to work on your sobriety. But, realize if this pattern continues (quitting, starting again, quitting, etc...) you may have to try something different to keep sobriety permanent.

When you're sick and tired of being sick and tired you will surrender and quit. The battle will be endless and de-energizing until then.
