Another reason not to drink...
I found this website that calculates the number of calories in the alcohol you drink. It was amazing. Each night of drinking, I've consumed between 750 and 850 calories! If I can stop drinking I might even lose weight, too! That is very exciting to me, since I have gone up 3-4 sizes since I began drinking heavily. Thought this might interest/motivate others, too:

I went to my doctor before going sober. The nurse weighed me and asked if it was possible I put on 40 lbs in a year--I said "oh yea" well 20 of its gone now and I'm saying good night to the rest of it and then some.
I used to use this analogy: It's like eating a double Whopper right before bed every night of the week. Is is a ridiculous amount of calories at the absolute worse time to ingest them. What did I think was going to happen to my waist?
I read somewhere one bottle of wine a night (Which sadly was easy for me) and no exercise would easily put on 10 pounds a month. That's a generalization of course, but for me, it did! It was a combination of the sugar in the wine and poor dietary choices the next day (eating healthy never sounded good to me with a hangover!)
