One Month never would of thought :)
Well it has been one month of soberity for me
If anyone would have asked me if I thought I would not have a drink for a month, I would of looked at ya like you had to heads .
Let alone say I am in AA just about to start working on Step 2 and 3, with my sponsor tomorrow, and my home group. All of this month has been completely new and every step of life is being relearned.
And its all ok , I have not had 30 days consecutive of soberity in about 25-26 years, well for that matter i never had 5 days probably , if i did it was back in high school.
So to all trying to get sober you really can do it, i never thought i could live a day without a drink to eat, work ,,cook , ect. Now i have to do everything and remember it .
Also to all of you that have giving your time and love i Thank You from the bottom of my sober soul .(you all now who you are )
And those that do know me , you should expect nothing less than to know i cooked a beautiful dinner for tonight.
(of course i share) du jour -rosemary rubbed grilled chicken, roasted garlic mashed potato's, and grilled asparagus finshed with a aged balsamic vinger reduction. and of course a nice salad, and to complete ice cream lol
Ps if you read this thread my secert love :day1 this is for you also , contgrats on a month i love sharing a birthday with you.:day6
