Well, despite the fact that I had to go to a family reunion at my wife's grandfather's, I made it through the 4th without drinking. And considering how much I dislike some of the members of her family, I think that was a fairly decent accomplishment. Day 20 for me. I haven't felt this good in my entire adult life. My first week of sobriety, a lot of people said it gets better...and they were right.
