Well, last night I said I'd probably be thanking myself and you so here's a big THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I woke up feeling great and have gotten so much done today because I didn't drink last night. What would I do without all of you?!? Thanks so much for your support!
Happier, yes, the hunger thing is true for me too. In fact, I think that had a lot to do with my craving last night. I was hustling around town running errands and got home at the time I used to start drinking and was STARVING. In fact, that's a huge trigger for me because I used to make sure I was starving when I would drink. I need to make it a priority to eat earlier and never let myself get that hungry. As to your other tip, I have actually told my husband to not bring anything home no matter what I say. That doesn't work for two reasons 1. It put him in the middle and he felt really torn about what to do when I would beg, etc. and I eventually realized that it has to be up to me whether or not I drink. 2. I would always be able to "reason" well enough that he would give in. I appreciate the tips though! I definitely need to figure something out since he works where he does!!
Again, thank you all! I really do feel proud of myself today and I owe it all to you!
