Day 23 rehab - Kelly (deal)
Let's make a deal, all.
I will go through another day NOT drinking, if you collectively toss your firewater down the kitchen sink!
Off to 2 group meetings soon, then 2 education lectures in afternoon, topped off by a 7:30 pm AA meeting with a large cup of coffee, triple cream, no sugar!
I'm still struggling with the concept of my Higher Power...and it ain't a coffee, well, maybe at this point in the morning, it is! ;-)
12 days to go, hopefully (35 day program).
So I'm hopefully done on Tuesday, May 24...and I am hoping to return to work on Monday, May 30th.
"The best laid plans of mice and men", don'tcha know.
Maybe I should apply to be a janitor at Homewood, so I never have to leave!
(Actually, I AM taking Phase 3 of the program, once I leave...I shall be driving to Homewood for a 1 1/2 hour meeting, every Wednesday after work....to meet with other graduates of the residential program, along with an Addictions Counsellor.)
Hope that answers some of the questions that some of you folks having been asking.
:-)
