5 months sober today! Thank you SR!

Hey all! Today I have 5 months of sobriety!!!!

Seems hard to believe that I have put together enough days to total 5 months. I have had many tough days but far more great days. I can honestly say I have never woken up from a day of "not drinking" and thought "Man, I wish I'd of gotten drunk last night".

Drinking provided me nothing. It was a temporary fix that came with an infinite amount of problems that were bigger than the problems that I drank over.

I just wanted to say thank you to this site. It / you has helped me so much.

I wish everyone here the best of luck. I hope to report many more days / months / years of sobriety in the future.

5 months is super!

I like the way you mention that there are more good days then bad, i have had some bad days lately but all in all this sober life is a pretty good deal if you ask me.
