New "Drank"

Just saw on Nightline...the new drink called Drank. A relaxation drink...weed in a can...legal version of alcohol...opposite of energy drinks.
What is this world coming to? Now everyone can be more comatose than they already are. I can't imagine this could be good for recovery.
Anyone hear of this?

Hopefully this will end up like Salvia and K2 and get made illegal (both are now illegal in MN)

It has herbs that are used to relax, I use one of them for sleep sometimes...

A lot of people take valerian and melatonin as a sleep aid...

I really dont like the way it's marketed, but the ingredients in them IMHO are ok (for me anyway)

I take melatonin almost nightly, I read doctors say it's a good antioxidant and it's a natural brain made sleep aid, but I agree in a can? I wouldn't think you would want to be drinking that behind the wheel.

The new drink may be trading on that name....

but from what I understand from a brief google, apart from names, the two drinks are entirely different....one is obviously home made, the other is available commercially.

They make brownies that have herbs and stuff (melatonin) that bring on sleep as well.... It has been a problem when a kid got a hold of one.

Brownies, hmm... I think they are called "Chill-Out" brownies... well, as long as the stems don't get caught in my teeth... NOT!!!

Ya I dont think its the infamous "purple drank" that is made with codeine. This stuff seems to be different than that. I am not going to give it a whirl until I find out through here or somewhere else it would be ok for me as a problem drinker.

-Side note- Dgillz since your from the mobile area "purple drank" is what they caught JaMarcus Russell with.

I just found the purple can stuff...Like I said I don't like the marketing at all.

You know what I see ahead? Stuff like melatonin and valerian root, natural remedies being banned because of these idiots. I have a real problem with our freedoms being messed with because people don't use common sense. Actually I believe our gov't uses people's lack of common sense to market their own drugs...watch this all get banned and then it's RX only. Vitamins are going to head that way too...
