I am just starting my step 4 and I am very excited to get underway. I did the readings in the big book and 12 by 12, and found (for me) that they did not really help me process the step. My sponsor gave me some sheets to do. I am finding it difficult to get going (for whatever reason). I really want to get going on this piece of the work.

Does anyone who has been through the step 4/5 process have any insight into this. What worked for you? Where did you start? How did it look?

I have talked to my sponsor. I am now writing the strory of my life. It is quite stirring and I have a long way to go. Once I am done with this piece I am will be completing the tables and tools provided through AA.
