Happy Anniversary
Huge day for me! Today marks 30 days without any alcohol and I feel great! Yes, I admit that it still takes a one day at a time approach, but with the help of great people on this Site, it has made it much easier. No longer waking up groggy, tired etc. Able to read to my kids bed time stories instead of drinking a glass or two of wine. Saving big $$$$$$ on not purchasing cases of wine for those "upcoming social events". To all of you who are in my shoes: Hang in there, and stick to your plan, and don't give up. Next step, joining my local gym this week and using my money towards my family and my health instead of alcohol.

Congrats Familyman! I hit the big 30 yesterday and feel great too, apart from insomnia. I calculated the $$ I am saving by no longer buying wine and bought my wife a really nice gift. God knows she deserves it after all the **** she's put up with.
