My AA sponsor says AA is not for everyone.
She has 19 years and if anyone should know, she should.
She has worked with homeless drunks, young drunks, "functioning drunks", men and women drunks and now she is working with a luxury housewife drunk, me. Hah.
I'm an AA-er but I don't insist that it is for everyone. Maybe someday we will find that fantastic cure....that pill or that program or that...or this...but until then, I use everything that comes my way. AA mostly, plus other things.
