Hi everybody, glad I found this place. I've been diagnosed as having anxiety/major depression along with being a alcoholic.
I've been sober since 11/15/2010 this time been fighting all this for a long time but it wasn't till last year that I went to a therapist/psychitrast and been diagnosed.

Hi navyvet welcome to SR, I am here for a different reason its my sister who is alcoholic and in here I have found support and comfort from day one which has been a great help to me...lost of understanding too

I also had anxiety/depression which led to alcoholism.
I am glad that you are seeing a therapist and I hope that your anxiety and depression improve when you stop drinking. Mine improved somewhat, and I find it much easier to deal with now that I am in recovery.
