Hello, back on the wagon
Hello,
My name is Lyndon. I am recently new to sobriety again. It doest get any better, came back with my tail tucked between my legs. I'm ready to really get sober this time, and taking all the suggestions AA is giving me. I am glad Im back and not dead.

Hello fellow Maryland-er! I know just how you feel, but for me - that's what it took - to feel totally disgusted and defeated. I tried to control it so many times, and always failed - almost lost my life trying to figure out a way to keep drinking.
When I found SR I was no longer alone. I felt so much support that I found the courage to give it up for good. I would never want to go back to my old life. It was such a waste of precious time. Congratulations on your decision to get well - we are with you!

Glad you're here, AwakenHeart - I went back to drinking after several years of sobriety and found out what I'd been told a million times: it only gets worse. I guess I thought I was smarter than every other alcoholic!
I'm glad you're back and not dead, too. The way I look at things today, it IS a life and death issue for me if I go back to drinking again. You can do it this time!
