Day 2...

Well...Ive gone through day 2 with out any problems! YEAH!!! I was a bit preoccupied to say the least today...My son got into my friends moms prescription sleeping pills and took one. Had to go to ER and had to monitor my sons heart (he's 2 by the way) for 6 hours, swallow the charcoal etc...LONG STORY SHORT..we are home safe and sound. And momma's doin well too! No beer in the house...getting ready for bed....LIFE IS GOOD. Bring on day 3!!!

So glad to hear all is well with your son - that must have been so scary!! Congrats on your Day 2.

wow! I had a close call like that with one of my kids, too. (Maybe it happens to most parents?) It's so great that you caught it right away and everything is OK. Great also that you were sober and ready to drive and could also really be there for your son.

Wow, that stinks that you and your son had to go through that. Sorry to hear about it. But it's a lot easier to deal with these bumps in the road of life when our heads aren't full of the booze. Glad everything worked out for you.
