How long until you're not physically addicted, and it's just mental?
Anyone know how long it takes for your body to not crave alcohol anymore, and it's just in your head? I know for cigarettes I read something like 4 days, and then you are just craving it mentally.
Hope that makes some sort of sense.

Hi Starke
I'm no doctor but this article seems pretty good.
alcohol withdrawal - All health - Medical Reference Library and Symptom Finder
I think initially cravings are a mix of physical and psychological stimuli and they go on for a while too...I had cravings at least the first 90 days, but not all the time.
do check with your own doctor if you're worried about anything

Physical withdrawl is 3 days from there it's all mental. But most alcoholics are not physically addicted anyways. It takes an extraordinary amount of daily alcohol to get physically addicted. I was never physically addicted.
