Anyone know how long it takes for your body to not crave alcohol anymore, and it's just in your head? I know for cigarettes I read something like 4 days, and then you are just craving it mentally.

Hope that makes some sort of sense.

I think initially cravings are a mix of physical and psychological stimuli and they go on for a while too...I had cravings at least the first 90 days, but not all the time.

Physical withdrawl is 3 days from there it's all mental. But most alcoholics are not physically addicted anyways. It takes an extraordinary amount of daily alcohol to get physically addicted. I was never physically addicted.

It took my body at least 100 hours to get rid of the worse physical withdrawls.
Something l never want to do again.
l imagine that if there is a hell, it will be like that.
And the older you get, the longer it takes.
