100
100
Wow, a hundred days without a drink. I haven't done that in more than 20 years. (It was hard for me to type that last sentence.)
It feels pretty good to know that I don't need to drink a bunch of beer every night thinking it will help me function, to be able to go to work without panic attacks while hung over, to be able to get in bed and just fall asleep in peace instead passing out.
Life is not perfect and I have things to work on, but at least I know I'm not making things worse with alcohol any longer. That's enough for now.
So, thanks to SR, which is the only real support system I have had so far. The conversations and advice here have inspired me for years, and helped keep me sober for 100 days.
