Just checking back in after all these days (last week was rough, long story, but I'm still sober, thank you HP!). Mahi, glad you got to listen to some Earl! He is amazing. His talk on the steps (Catch the Buzz with the Steps) on that same site is phenomenal too. I just finished it a couple of weeks ago. He had some good stuff.
On the CA talk you downloaded, one (of many) things he says that always sticks with me is "Those who came before me said, 'You do not have to suffer sober'". Wow. That's what I was doing and he really got into the solution on that CD. Totally changed my recovery. I'm so grateful I was able to listen to that early on in my sobriety. "You don't have to dance with that beast ever again, one day at a time." I really needed to hear that and know that.
