Day 8 - Feeling Groovy
Day 8 - Feeling Groovy
Did I spell "Groovy" right? Oh well. Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know that I've got a full week of sobriety (woo hoo!) and I'm still trying to take this thing just one day at a time.
Now I understand why you hear that "one day at a time" phrase so dang much in AA - it works! Also, I actually slept like 6-7 hours last night. Man, what a blessing!
Anyways, my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you and please just know that I don't have the words to thank you all enough for your encouragement and all of your posts - I've learned so much just by reading here.
God Bless,
RacerX

Yayy!!!! So proud and congrats on 8 days sober! Man, you are groovy....you dig?
I agree that the days get easier and it is almost like the little engine that could. The more days sober under our belts the more we become stronger and committed to our recovery. I remember how nervous I was to quit but one day at time is what gets me though.
Stay strong my friend. The sober life is amazing!!! How I have missed it so!
