Welcome to SR, DarkKnight/Rolfcopter...
Check with your insurance company for sure. The one I had when I started this journey would have canceled me or whatever it's called, for alcoholism. Although they would have paid $2000 towards the treatment... go figure. I didn't have Kaiser though.
I did drink about as much as you though, and did go through some rough detoxes... you should check in with at least a clinic or private doctor somewhere...
Rant over, take care of yourself and stay safe,

I've never had the hallucination part. I have had seizures. I've had lots of other unpleasant symptoms. I've quit a few times lately, too many really.
After a couple days, it's a *pretty good* indicator that you might not have any 'major symptoms', but not a *perfect* indicator... I had a seizure once 4 days in, I think. It was totally unexpected and scared the daylights out of me.
Still, your best bet is some sort of medical supervision.
Best of luck, and don't be afraid to quit... you've got the intention, and that's a lot going for you and your chances at sobriety... drinking's no good for us either, you probably know. A few medical problems can arise there too...
